Where do I watch Joaquin Bordado online?

Joaquin Bordado is story of a man who works as an assassin of a secret group under the leadership of a man named General Russo (starred by Eddie Garcia). Joaquin Apacible (starred by Robin Padilla) masquerades his job as an assassin to a simple sales agent. Unfortunately, at on time Joaquin was assigned for a specific mission, he failed to eliminate a child who became a witness of what Joaquin just did. In so doing, Joaquin got caught by the authorities.

Since Joaquin did not kill the remaining child, the child witnessed against Joaquin, which caused the latter to be sentenced for imprisonment. Consequentially, General Russo decides he would not help Joaquin for his own carelessness. General Russo would not take the risk of being involved in the crime since his reputation would also be affected.

General Russo would want Joaquin dead instead of letting him live. He plans everything that could destroy Joaquin; until one time, Jilco (Starred by Pen Medina), the last descendant of Bordados, chooses Joaquin to be heir of the powers of the Bordados. Even if Joaquin gets killed in the prison due to General Russo’s command, Joaquin lives again after Jilco transferred the powers of the Bordados in Joaquin. Jilco explains the new goal of Joaquin to save mankind by destroying the Xelvarria—which is the root of evil. From then, Joaquin starts his quest for the Xelvarria and so his search for his family.

Recently, I was able to watch the Pinoy version of Lupin III at MyPinoy.tv. I chose to watch the Pinoy serye Lupin III because I was curious how would Richard Gutierrez portray my favorite Anime character, Lupin. And to my delight, Richard did neither disappoint my expectations nor me. Thus, I was satisfied to see that Richard Gutierrez is a flexible actor who can really portray and act Lupin’s character.

I remember how good Lupin III in escaping all of his adversaries (just like James Bond). Back when I was in grade school, I used to watch Lupin III (Anime version) at GMA network and I enjoyed watching it every after I finish my homework. However, I was expecting to watch the ending of the series, I was not able to watch it up to the last episode, even if I started watching the first episode and the preceding episodes aired by GMA; I was not able to watch its ending—just like you guys..

Good thing GMA has come up with the Filipino version of Lupin III—I was able to reminisce my childhood days when I was watching Lupin III. Starring Richard Gutierrez, he played the role of Arsene Lupin—a son of an expert thief, named Duroy who turns out to not a good influence to his own son. Why I love watching this Pinoy serye? It’s because of Lupin’s character: Lupin is good in examining things; he has excellent skills in Forensic Science making him so fit for investigating on dubious, vile people who are often Lupin’s target victim. Lupin steals valuable and very expensive stuffs he finds interesting to those affluent individuals who are bad, greedy, and hostile. Fair enough right?

I enjoyed Watching Lupin III (The Philippine version) for I loved watching the Anime/cartoon version when it was aired along time ago at GMA network. Starring Richard Gutierrez, he played the role of Lupin. Richard showed his acting talent with this serye and also, not to mention his good looks—he’s extremely fit for the role I should say. The tricks and new fighting scenes in Lupin IIIare amazing for I thought the Pinoy seryes are stuck up with the same old style and ways of combat which are way too PASSE. And GUESS WHAT?! I was wrong, watching Lupin III amazed me for there are some twists created for the story to have the sense of being adjusted in the Philippine setting—and I find it cool. Due to my curiosity in the Pinoy version of Lupin III, I landed on MyPinoy.tv’s website and I notice that they were offering a free trial for viewing the tv shows within 24 hours! Yes, I used the free trial before subscribing to them, of course.

Upon watching Lupin III, I also noticed that there are new characters plus, some of the names are slightly changed like that of Detective Zenegata for instance. Janno Gibbs portrayed the role of the detective and his name is Inspector Claudio. The characters who played their roles in the Pinoy serye Lupin are good.

My Most Favoite Pinoy tv show: Encantadia

It was a great pleasure for me to be able to watch Encantadia since I missed some of its episodes when it was aired on GMA three years ago (2006) for being busy at work. Just recently (2 weeks ago), I came across this website http://mypinoy.tv where I had the opportunity to watch all the episodes that I have missed.

Encantadia induces my imagination. I love watching it because for me, Encantadia highlights the Filipino culture and literature wherein we used to believe in mythical characters like fairies, legendary dwarfs, and for being able to watch the Encantadia on MyPinoy.tv, I realized how the tv show was able to relive the Filipino culture and literature which is so creative, enriched, dynamic, mystic, and in one word: beautiful.

How I love watching all the episodes of Encantadia, including its second book, Etheria, and even up to last book, the Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas--I look forward in finishing episode by episode of each book because I can’t stop until I would know what would happen next. Plus, the actors and actresses are so good in portraying their roles in this show namely, Sunshine Dizon as Pirena, Iza Calzado as Amihan, Karyle as Alena, Diana Zubiri as Danaya, and Dindong Dantes as Ybrahim/Ybarro and others. No wonder Encantadia has reached its peak rating surmounting to 39.3 % in Mega Manila survey.

Encantadia implicitly shares its moral lesson that Love conquers all as it is the answer to questions in life. It heals all kinds of wounds (literal and emotional wounds) and all of mankind’s hatred. This is a ‘must-see’ Philippine tv show which is very values-oriented and timely in our present scenario, making it suitable and entertaining for viewers of all ages.
